My Work Expertise

My name is Sean Smith, and I’m the owner of Rival Media, LLC, a successful web design and multimedia development firm in Dallas, TX.  I began my journey over 16 years ago when I began to venture on to the internet in an effort to market my business ventures more successfully.  Back then, the internet was still in its infancy and I had realized its true potential early on.  I picked up a book on HTML 4 and began to teach myself the programming language of web design.  As my career progressed I gained further experience and knowledge on other technologies and now know 13 different programming languages.  My primary focus resides in graphic design, web design and flash development.  I’m a senior level flash developer with knowledge and experience in multimedia design, development and interactive design.  My skills are highly sought after within my industry and valued by those who I typically do business with.

My Personal Expertise

I’m a single father of a beautiful 11 year old daughter who keeps me very busy shuttling her around from school and dance (Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop).  She also enjoys playing tennis.  I’m a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps of 15 years and work hard to live my life with honor, loyalty and integrity.  I always look at life in a positive manner and strive toward self-improvement on a daily basis.

What I Do

I provide consulting services and web development services to my clients to help them build and promote their business online.  I teach you how to create a strong web presence through your website and social media as well as traditional marketing methods.  I’ve built a very successful and thriving business around empowering others to succeed on the internet by sharing my knowledge and experience with them.  I greatly enjoy what I do and am very inspired when my clients realize the true potential available to them through the internet.

Why I Do What I Do

I have very valuable knowledge and insight into web design and internet marketing.  Many of my clients are experts within their particular industries and know very little about operating and promoting their businesses online.  I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients in an effort to empower them to achieve success in addition to their core business model.  The feeling I get when a client gains an understanding of how the internet can benefit them and how to go about doing it is truly amazing.  I’m very passionate about helping other succeed online and enjoy the relationships and camaraderie that is created.
