Key Takeaways

  • WunderlistWunderlist is a fantastic list application that can be used to create business and personal lists, prioritize tasks and set goals.
  • EvernoteEvernote is a wonderful tool to use to jot down ideas, plans, capture web content, and organize your overall life.
  • Facebook – Used properly, Facebook can be a great resource to stay connected with your team, customers, family and prospects. It is a great resource to nurture new relationships and build business partnerships.
  • Google+ – Still new to the social networking landscape, Google+ provides some great tools to grow your home business on the internet. I use the “Hangout” feature to host weekly network marketing mentoring, marketing and coaching hangouts for anyone interested. It’s a great way to meet new people and build prosperous relationships.
  • LinkedInLinkedIn is by far the most underutilized social network for home business owners. Yet it is the 2nd most source of traffic to my blog behind Google. It is a great resource for generating high quality leads.
  • Hootsuite – Wanna build a better business on the internet? Setup a social media listening post with Hootsuite. This mobile web app allows you to manage multiple social networks in one place. It makes it extremely easy to manager your social media marketing strategy on multiple fronts.
  • Newstand – Available on the iPhone, Newstand is a great resource to find useful magazines that contain articles that can help you grow your business. Currently, I use Newstand to subscribe to Success Magazine, Internet Marketing Magazine and Entrepreneur Magazine. Each offers its own unique content to help you become more successful with your business. Truly and invaluable resource if you ask me!
  • Bloom* = Bloom* is a unique personal development mobile web app by Mindbloom. It’s an app created to remind you of the little things we tend to overlook or take for granted. I love this app! You can create your own blooms as they are referred to and be alerted to stop and smell the roses every so often, or remind you of your daily aspirations. Wonderful app, well worth the 5 star reviews it has.
